October School Council Meeting was held online on Thursday, October 21 at 6:30pm via Google Meet. We had a great turnout – thank you to everyone who attended and participated in our discussions! You can see the agenda from the October meeting on our Meetings & Agendas pageThe Record of Discussion (ROD), or meeting minutes, will be posted on our Minutes & Documents page as soon as they are ready. You can also catch up on minutes from past meetings on the same page. Note that our meetings are open to the entire school community - everyone is welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you there next month! 

Your School Council

School Council is a valuable home/school link that supports the learning environment of your children, the students of Robert Hopkins PS.

The Council acts in an advisory capacity, providing ideas and input to assist the principal and where appropriate, school board trustees, in their decision making on educational issues.

School Council membership includes parents/guardians (elected by parents/guardians), the principal, the Vice Principal (if applicable), one member of the teaching staff and, if possible, an appointed community member.
