School Council

Thank you for joining us online on Thurs. June 10 for our final School Council meeting of the 2020-2021 school year!

Our first School Council meeting of the new school year (2021-2022) is scheduled for Thurs. Sept. 23, 2021 at 6:30pm, and will include our Council Elections. You can read all about School Council Roles & Responsibilities to help you decide if you might like to run for an elected position! Everyone is welcome to attend our meetings (not just elected members of Council). We hope to see you at many of our meetings next year! 

Your School Council

School Council is a valuable home/school link that supports the learning environment of our students and your children.

The Council acts in an advisory capacity providing ideas and input to assist the principal and where appropriate, school board trustees in their decision making on educational issues.

School Council membership includes parents (elected by parents), the principal, one member of the teaching staff, one non-teaching staff representative and, if possible, an appointed community member.
